A complete mix.

Beachgrass carries the volume. The contract-grown species close the permit. Availability is stated plainly because delivery certainty matters more than a green badge.

A deposit buys a named place in the dig order. It is not an online checkout and no payment details pass through this site.

    Send quantities, species mix, and delivery week. We confirm against uncommitted field stock and issue a written quote within two business days.

  2. 02

    Deposit

    30 percent holds the allocation and fixes price and dig position. Invoiced directly; card details are never taken here.

  3. 03

    Balance

    Due 14 days before delivery. Public agencies and school districts may substitute a purchase order and settle net-30 after delivery.

  4. 04

    Lift + deliver

    Cut fresh to the delivery week, never held. Itemised receipts are issued as standard for cost-share reimbursement.

What gets a dune job
into trouble.

Short answers to the questions that tend to arrive after the bid is won.

Ordering

  • Ordering in July. Summer requests become next-season allocations.
  • Sizing from frontage alone. Multiply frontage by the planted-band depth.
  • Forgetting the mix. If the permit names sea oats, beachgrass alone will not close the job.
  • Losing the receipt. Cost-share reimburses against itemised receipts only.

Planting

  • Setting too shallow. Culms go 8–10 in. deep with a dibble.
  • Fertilising wrong. 16-8-8 or 10-10-10 at roughly 100 lb/acre, split across two passes from 1 Mar to 1 Jun.
  • Over-planning irrigation. In the dormant window, rainfall is normally sufficient.
  • Digging wild stands. Nursery stock performs better and does not put a permit at risk.
